Pastor Marvin announces retirement after 45 years of ministry at Grace

On Sunday, May 25th, Pastor Marvin announced his retirement to take effect on July 20th, 2008. Pastor Marvin states, "For Betty and me, we have a mixed sentiment--rejoicing at God's good hand but sad because we have enjoyed serving you for this time, now in our forty fifth year. He is also retiring as superintendent of Grace Baptist Academy, the school he was instrumental in founding in 1973. Mrs. Marvin has retired from her duties at GBA which included music and Senior Bible class.
